2017 Ohio Mechanical Code Boilers & Hydronic Piping Systems 4.0

Course Description:

This 4-hour seminar is designed for online or in-person training that highlights main provisions regarding Boilers & Hydronic Piping Systems with general requirements, contained in the 2017 Ohio Mechanical Code (OMC) and the 2015 International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) referenced by the 2017 OMC. Participants will be provided with instructor-led activities and examples regarding gas-fired and oil-fired boiler installation requirements. Boiler safety and operational controls will be covered for both steam and hot water boilers. Hydronic piping installation requirements taught in this presentation will provide practice in applying key requirements to system materials, controls, and methods of installation according to the 2017 OMC. Upon completion of this training, participants will understand the intent of the 2017 OMC allowing them to apply comprehensive installation principles regarding Boilers & Hydronic Piping Systems consistent with the requirements within the 2017 Ohio Mechanical Code (OMC) and the 2015 International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) referenced by the 2017 OMC.
